Erik Janson is an award winning songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, whose work with a diverse group of artists has been featured on major label and independent releases. Erik stands out among producers for his songwriting skills and experience, collaborative style, and deep, soulful approach to production. He also composes original songs and score for film, television, and advertisements.

Erik has collaborated with an array of artists and writers including Allen Stone, Lily Meola, Lukas Nelson, Ark Woods, Sam Tinnesz, Izo Fitzroy, Aaron Childs, Sam Opoku, Eric Cannata (Young the Giant), Jeremy Ruzumna (Fitz and the Tantrums), Steve Bays (Hot Hot Heat), Chris Pierce, and EJ Worland. His various artist projects include the band Wilding (2014- 2018), and currently Left Field Messiah (with Bays and Ruzumna) and Leon Creek (with Pierce).

Recent placements include advertisements for Microsoft and REDDIT, “The Underdoggs” feature film trailer, television syncs in “The Freak Brothers” and “Good Trouble,” and film syncs in “Brave the Dark” and “Best Foot Forward.” He also wrote and produced the end title song “Glory Shine” for the documentary film “Defining Us” and original songs for several YETI Presents films.
